the dark horse vol. 1 & 2 comics and god of war the official novelization are canon as far as we know, unless they retcon/change things in Ragnarök god of war 1&2 books are semi-canon I believe, they don't really change or add anything they just give extra context to Kratos' thoughts lore & legends is canon
